Target intelligence / Profile preview
SMARCAD1 divergent transcript (SMARCAD1-DT) is a long non-coding RNA gene transcribed near the SMARCAD1 locus. Unlike SMARCAD1, which encodes a chromatin remodeling protein involved in epigenetic regulation and DNA repair, SMARCAD1-DT does not encode a protein and its biological roles, clinical relevance, and possible therapeutic utility are not currently established in public biomedical resources. It may have a regulatory role in the expression of neighboring genes, but its specific functions remain largely unknown in literature.
None known; there are no drugs targeting SMARCAD1-DT specifically
