SNED1 antisense RNA 1 (SNED1-AS1)

SNED1 antisense RNA 1 (SNED1-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA gene located antisense to the SNED1 protein-coding gene on human chromosome 2. Long non-coding RNAs, such as SNED1-AS1, are a class of regulatory RNAs that do not encode proteins but may have roles in regulating the expression of neighboring or overlapping genes, including potential regulatory effects on SNED1. There is currently no evidence to support SNED1-AS1 as a therapeutic target, receptor, enzyme, or transporter, and no data on drug interactions, mechanism of action, or biomarker utility.
