Sodium-dependent bicarbonate transporter A (SbtA) is a high-affinity, sodium-dependent membrane transporter found in cyanobacteria, primarily involved in the uptake of bicarbonate (HCO₃⁻) as part of the CO₂-concentrating mechanism (CCM)[1][4].
