Solute carrier family 5 member 4 pseudogene 1 (SLC5A4P1) is a pseudogene in humans—the sequence is homologous to SLC5A4, a member of the sodium/glucose cotransporter family (SLC5) that, in its functional form, helps transport glucose and sodium across cell membranes[3][5].
