Target intelligence / Profile preview
SALL4P7 is a pseudogene related to SALL4, belonging to the spalt-like transcription factor family. Pseudogenes are typically nonfunctional genomic sequences resembling functional genes but lacking protein-coding potential or clear biological activity. There is no evidence in current scientific literature that SALL4P7 itself is a functional molecule, therapeutic target, or involved in drug interactions, disease biology, or relevant safety considerations. The functional gene SALL4, in contrast, is a well-characterized transcription factor with oncogenic roles in several cancers, but these attributes do not extend to its pseudogenes.
