Target intelligence / Profile preview
Sperm-tail PG-rich repeat-containing protein 3 (STPG3) is a protein encoded by the STPG3 gene in humans, located on chromosome 9[1][7][8]. It is characterized by polyproline- and glycine-rich (PG-rich) repeat domains, and is presumed to be involved in sperm tail structure or function due to its sequence similarity and nomenclature, but its precise molecular function and biological roles remain uncharacterized[4][5][7]. There is currently no evidence that STPG3 is a therapeutic target, nor that it is implicated in specific diseases or drug responsiveness. Its expression and function are subjects for further study, and it is currently classified as a protein of unknown function.
