Overview

Spermatogenesis-associated protein 31C1 (SPATA31C1) is a member of the SPATA31 family and is considered a putative single-pass membrane protein predominantly associated with spermatogenesis in Homo sapiens[1][2][8][10]. The gene is located on chromosome 9q22.1 and appears to play a functional role in the development and differentiation of male germ cells, although its precise molecular mechanism and broader biological significance remain uncharacterized[3][8][9][10]. No evidence currently supports its role in human disease, therapeutic targeting, or drug interactions, and its clinical relevance is unclear[3][10].
