Target intelligence / Profile preview
Spermatogenesis-associated protein 45 (SPATA45) is a testis-expressed protein encoded by the SPATA45 gene in humans and other species. Its specific cellular and molecular function remains unclear, but it is presumed to play a role in spermatogenesis based on its expression in late spermatids within the testis[1][10]. No literature supports a direct association with disease processes, therapeutic targeting, or established biological roles outside the male reproductive system. SPATA45 is not known to belong to major protein target classes such as enzymes, receptors, or transcription factors[1][7][10].
