Overview
The SRC family comprises non-receptor tyrosine kinases, with c-Src (SRC) as its prototype. These kinases regulate proliferation, differentiation, survival, migration, and angiogenesis. Aberrant activation or overexpression of c-Src is implicated in many cancers. Inhibitors targeting these kinases are under investigation for therapeutic use.
