Overview

Sterile alpha motif domain-containing protein 13 is a protein with a SAM domain implicated in chromatin and histone binding, regulating transcription, and epigenetic processes. In cancers such as hepatocellular carcinoma, elevated levels of SAMD13 are correlated with poor prognosis and aggressive tumor features.
