Stimulation of local immune response describes the enhancement of immune activity within specific tissues or microenvironments through the coordinated action of resident and recruited immune cells, local cytokine and chemokine production, and antigen presentation. The process is fundamental for effective immune surveillance of infection, cancer, and tissue homeostasis.
