Overview

"Strengthening body resistance" is a broad physiological and therapeutic concept rather than a specific molecular target, receptor, or enzyme. Because the term refers to a functional outcome involving complex interactions between multiple cell types—such as T-cells, B-cells, and macrophages—and signaling molecules, it cannot be categorized as a single druggable entity. In drug development, researchers instead focus on specific molecular components of this system, such as checkpoint inhibitors or growth factors, rather than the concept of 'resistance' itself. Consequently, while the term is useful for describing a clinical goal or a general biological process, it is considered an 'incorrect' target for precise molecular docking or specific pharmacological classification (UniProt; NIH, 2024).

Mechanism of action
