Succinate dehydrogenase complex subunit D pseudogene 3, abbreviated as SDHDP3, is a human pseudogene (Gene ID: 29771)[4][5]. Pseudogenes are genomic DNA sequences similar to normal genes but are typically non-functional; they do not encode functional proteins and lack biological activity. SDHDP3 does not participate in receptor, enzyme, transporter, or other targetable biological roles, nor does it have reported effects in human disease, drug interaction, or biomarker utility. Its only known relevance is as a non-coding genetic artifact closely related in sequence to the functional succinate dehydrogenase complex subunit D gene. There is nothing to suggest SDHDP3 is a therapeutic target, nor does it have biological, pharmacological, or clinical significance as of the current knowledge base[4][5].
