Target intelligence / Profile preview
SUMO2 pseudogene 14 (SUMO2P14) is a genomic DNA sequence similar to the protein-coding gene SUMO2 but is classified as a pseudogene, meaning it does not encode a functional protein product. While some pseudogenes may have regulatory functions at the RNA level, there is currently no evidence that SUMO2 pseudogene 14 is transcribed or plays a role in biological processes or disease. It is therefore not considered a therapeutic target, nor is it relevant for current biomedical or pharmacological interventions.
None applicable. There are no drugs targeting this pseudogene, nor is there evidence that it acts in a drug-targetable way
