Suppressor of cytokine signaling 6 (SOCS6) is a member of the SOCS family of proteins that act as negative regulators of cytokine and growth factor signaling (UniProt: O14544). Its dual role in regulating both insulin sensitivity and oncogenic signaling makes it a complex but promising target for metabolic and oncological interventions.
