Overview
The SYT-SSX fusion neoantigen is a tumor-specific antigen resulting from the t(X;18)(p11.2;q11.2) chromosomal translocation characteristic of synovial sarcoma. The fusion protein, composed of portions of the SYT/SS18 and SSX proteins, dysregulates gene expression and chromatin remodeling, driving oncogenesis. It is a promising target for engineered T-cell therapies due to its tumor-specificity.
