Overview

T cell lymphoma-associated long non-coding RNA 1 (TCLlnc1), also known as ferritin heavy chain 1 pseudogene 24 (FTH1P24), is a long non-coding RNA identified as overexpressed in peripheral T cell lymphoma (PTCL)[2][4][1]. TCLlnc1 acts as a modular scaffold, directly interacting with HNRNPD and YBX1 proteins to upregulate TGFB2 and TGFBR1 gene transcription, thereby activating the TGF-β signaling pathway and promoting lymphoma cell proliferation and migration[2][4]. High serum levels correlate with poor prognosis in PTCL patients, supporting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target[2][4]. This gene is a non-protein-coding pseudogene, distinct from the active ferritin heavy chain (FTH1)[1]. No direct drug interactions or established safety concerns have been documented for this lncRNA.
