T cell receptor beta variable 5-4 (TRBV5-4) is a protein component of the T cell receptor (TCR) complex, specifically representing one of the variable (V) segments of the beta chain in human T cells[2][5]. The TCR is a heterodimeric receptor found on the surface of T lymphocytes, responsible for recognizing peptide antigens presented by major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules and thus mediating antigen-specific immune responses[2][5][6].
