T cell receptor beta variable 6-8 (TRBV6-8) is a protein coding gene segment representing a specific variable region of the T cell receptor (TCR) beta chain in humans[1][5][6]. The canonical target is the T cell receptor (TCR), of which TRBV6-8 is one of many potential gene segments for variable region assembly. Thus, considering TRBV6-8 itself as a therapeutic target would be incorrect.
