Mechanism of action

The FP-01.1 peptide is a therapeutic vaccine component designed to be presented by Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) molecules on the surface of cells. The T cell receptor (TCR) specifically recognizes this FP-01.1 peptide–MHC complex, triggering the activation and proliferation of antigen-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs). These activated T cells then identify and eliminate tumor cells expressing the target antigen, thereby mounting an anti-tumor immune response.
