T-complex 10 like 3 (TCP10L3) is identified as a pseudogene in humans, meaning it bears sequence similarity to protein-coding genes but is not believed to produce a functional product[5]. Related genes in the mouse genome (such as Tcp-10bt) belong to a gene family associated with the t-complex, a region involved in male transmission ratio distortion[4]. The Tcp-10 gene family shows alternative splicing and expression predominantly in the testes in mice, but the human TCP10L3 locus is not known to encode protein nor does it have a characterized biological function[4][5]. No evidence supports its role as a therapeutic target, involvement in pathology, or protein interactions relevant to drug discovery or disease.
