Overview

T-complex protein 11-like protein 1 (TCP11L1) is a protein-coding gene and member of the TCP11 family, related to the canonical t-complex protein 11 (TCP11) that has known functions in sperm motility and spermatogenesis in the mouse. TCP11L1 contains a conserved TCP11 protein domain and is predicted to participate in signal transduction processes and localizes to microtubules. Unlike TCP11, which is testis-specific, TCP11L1 appears to have a broader tissue expression. The precise molecular role of TCP11L1 remains uncharacterized, and it is not known to be a therapeutic target or directly implicated in major disease processes. Existing data mainly identify it as a structural or regulatory protein rather than as a receptor, enzyme, or drug target[3][4][7]. If you require a specific therapeutic target or receptor, TCP11L1 is not classified as such based on current evidence. No interacting drugs, defined disease mechanisms, or major biomarker applications have been reported.
