TENM3 antisense RNA 1 (TENM3-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA gene located on human chromosome 4. It does not code for a protein but instead acts as a regulatory RNA, possibly through antisense mechanisms affecting the expression of the neighboring protein-coding gene TENM3 or other genomic elements. There is currently no evidence supporting its classification as a classical therapeutic target such as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or channel, nor is it well-established as a clinical biomarker or involved in known disease pathways. It is annotated in gene databases as a non-coding RNA and is not included in therapeutic target or druggability resources[5].
