Testis-specific gene 13 protein (TSGA13) is a conserved protein-coding gene predominantly expressed in the testis, but with lower expression in tissues such as stomach, larynx, spleen, bladder, tonsil, liver, and thyroid. TSGA13 protein is significantly downregulated in most carcinoma tissues compared to normal tissues, except glioblastoma and lung cancer, suggesting a possible connection to malignancy.
