TFDP1 pseudogene 1 (TFDP1P1)

TFDP1 pseudogene 1 (TFDP1P1) is a genomic DNA sequence related to the functional gene TFDP1 but does not encode a functional protein. Pseudogenes such as TFDP1P1 are typically remnants of gene duplication or retrotransposition events and usually lack the ability to produce functional gene products.
