Target intelligence / Profile preview
THSD4 antisense RNA 1 is an annotated long noncoding RNA gene (biotype: lncRNA) located on chromosome 15q23, antisense to the THSD4 gene[7][9][10]. While the THSD4 protein-coding gene (encoding thrombospondin type 1 domain containing 4) is involved in extracellular matrix assembly and vascular pathobiology, the specific biological function, pathways, and involvement of THSD4-AS1 remain unclear. There is so far no evidence to classify THSD4-AS1 as a therapeutic target or link it directly to drug interactions, specific diseases, or well-defined biological processes in the current literature and genetic databases[4][7][9][12].
