Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin Receptor

Molecular classification
Receptor, Cytokine Receptor, Type I cytokine receptor family
01

Overview

The thymic stromal lymphopoietin receptor (TSLPR) is a heterodimeric cell surface receptor complex consisting of CRLF2 and IL-7Rα. It mediates the biological effects of thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), a cytokine that plays a key role in initiating and modulating type 2 immune responses and is involved in inflammation, allergy, and immune homeostasis.
