Target intelligence / Profile preview
Thymosin beta 10 pseudogene is classified as a pseudogene of the functional gene *TMSB10* (thymosin beta 10). Pseudogenes are genomic DNA sequences similar to normal genes but typically non-functional; they do not encode a functional protein product. There is currently no evidence indicating this pseudogene is a therapeutic target, is involved in biological pathways, or has any established role in disease, biomarker utility, or drug interactions. The *TMSB10* protein-coding gene (distinct from the pseudogene) is involved in actin dynamics and cancer biology, but the pseudogene itself does not fulfill the criteria of a biomedical target[2].
