However, these approaches often target multiple cell types and pathways rather than a single molecule or receptor, resulting in complexity and challenges such as toxicity, loss of tissue homeostasis, and compensatory mechanisms[6]. This concept is more accurately described as a therapeutic strategy than a classical drug target.
