Target intelligence / Profile preview
TMEM252 divergent transcript (TMEM252-DT) is a non-coding RNA transcript located near or overlapping the TMEM252 gene on human chromosome 9 (chr9:68539441-68644442, hg38). It is annotated in gene databases but has no recognized function, molecular activity, or druggability. TMEM252-DT should not be confused with TMEM252, a protein-coding gene whose protein product has possible tumor suppressor roles in certain cancers. There is no evidence supporting TMEM252-DT as a therapeutic target, a biomarker, a component of a disease pathway, or as having any functional biology distinct from its genomic location.
