The Toll-like receptor (TLR) pathway is a crucial component of the innate immune system. TLRs recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) and damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs), triggering signaling cascades that activate inflammatory and antiviral responses.
