TOLLIP divergent transcript (TOLLIP-DT, also known as TOLLIP-AS1 or CTD-2245O6.1) is a human long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) gene located at chromosome 11p15.5 and transcribed in the antisense direction relative to the *TOLLIP* gene[4][10]. As an antisense lncRNA, TOLLIP-DT is involved in the regulation of its sense partner gene (TOLLIP) likely through chromatin modification, transcriptional interference, or recruitment of transcriptional and splicing factors, which is typical of natural antisense transcripts[3][10]. Functional genomic data show TOLLIP-DT is differentially expressed in several cancers and correlates with cancer stage and subtype[10], but its precise cellular functions and clinical relevance are still being elucidated. It is not considered a therapeutic target such as a receptor or enzyme, nor are specific drugs known to modulate it directly.
