Transcription elongation factor A like 4 pseudogene 1 (TCEAL4P1) is a human gene located on chromosome 13 and is officially classified as a pseudogene in genomic databases. It does not encode a protein and is considered a non-functional genomic locus with no established biological function or therapeutic relevance. TCEAL4P1 is similar in sequence to related functional genes in the transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like (TCEAL) family, but it has accumulated mutations that render it non-functional.
