Target intelligence / Profile preview
TRIM60P11Y is a human pseudogene found on the Y chromosome. It is related by sequence homology to the tripartite motif-containing (TRIM) family, specifically TRIM60, but has lost its protein-coding capacity and is not known to produce a functional protein. Like most pseudogenes, TRIM60P11Y may share regulatory sequences or sequence similarity with its parental gene, but there is no direct experimental evidence that it is actively transcribed or involved in gene regulation, nor has it been implicated in disease or as a therapeutic target[2][3].
