Overview

Tripartite motif-containing protein 64B (TRIM64B) is a putative member of the TRIM protein family, characterized by a conserved RBCC motif containing a RING domain, one or two B-box domains, and a coiled-coil domain[1][2][4]. TRIM64B is predicted to have ubiquitin protein ligase (E3 ligase) activity, and to be involved in the innate immune response and regulation of gene expression, functioning primarily in the cytoplasm[1][5][6]. However, there are currently no reports associating TRIM64B directly with specific human diseases, therapeutic interventions, or interacting drugs. TRIM64B remains poorly characterized, with much of its molecular and biological function inferred from its membership in the broader TRIM family—which is involved in processes such as autophagy, immunity, and protein regulation[2][4]. There is no strong evidence currently supporting TRIM64B as a direct therapeutic target.
