tRNA pseudouridine synthase-like 1 (PUSL1) is a protein encoded in humans by the PUSL1 gene. It is predicted to function as a pseudouridine synthase, an enzyme responsible for post-transcriptional modification of RNA by catalyzing the isomerization of uridine to pseudouridine in RNA molecules. Its name and sequence suggest similarity to known pseudouridine synthases, but direct biochemical characterization, disease associations, or drug interactions are not documented in the current literature or major protein knowledgebases[6][7].
