Target intelligence / Profile preview
TTC29 Antisense RNA 1 (TTC29-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) gene, transcribed from the DNA strand opposite to the TTC29 protein-coding gene. As an antisense lncRNA, TTC29-AS1 is part of a class of RNA molecules that do not code for protein but may regulate the expression of genes, often in a locus-specific manner by interacting with chromatin or modulating transcription, although no specific function or disease association has yet been characterized for TTC29-AS1.
