Overview

TTC3 antisense RNA 1 (TTC3-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed in the antisense direction from the TTC3 gene locus. Like other antisense lncRNAs, TTC3-AS1 is thought to regulate gene expression through chromatin remodeling, transcriptional interference, and possibly post-transcriptional modulation of mRNA stability, typically affecting its corresponding sense gene[1][4][5][7]. There are currently no specific links to diseases or known drug interactions, but research in related antisense lncRNAs shows potential involvement in cancer progression and epigenetic regulation[2][7]. TTC3-AS1 is catalogued primarily for its regulatory roles and may have context-specific effects in gene networks, but is not a classical pharmacological target such as a receptor or enzyme[4].
