Tubulin alpha 5, pseudogene (TUBA5P) is a nonfunctional genomic sequence that resembles the protein-coding tubulin alpha 5 gene, but cannot encode a functional alpha-tubulin protein due to disruptive mutations or incomplete transcriptional features.
