Target intelligence / Profile preview
Tubulin beta class I pseudogene is a non-functional genetic element that resembles the functional tubulin beta class I gene. Unlike the protein-coding beta-tubulin genes, this pseudogene does not encode a functional protein and does not play a known biological or therapeutic role. Pseudogenes such as this may result from duplication or retrotransposition events but are generally harmless background genomic DNA.
