Overview

Tudor domain-containing protein 10 (TDRD10) is a widely expressed protein that contains a Tudor domain, a conserved structural motif implicated in the recognition of methylated protein partners and in RNA metabolic processes[4][5]. TDRD10 is found in both the nucleus and cytoplasm and may play general roles such as regulation of RNA metabolism, reflecting the functions of other members of the Tudor domain family[5]. Current gene ontology annotations associate TDRD10 with nucleic acid binding and nucleotide binding activities[4]. Diseases associated with TDRD10, based on limited evidence, include aortic aneurysm[4]. There is no evidence that TDRD10 is a validated or widely pursued therapeutic target, nor are there known drugs that specifically interact with it. There are no prominently described mechanisms of action, biomarker roles, or safety concerns associated with TDRD10 in the literature[4][5].
