A tumor antigen (HLA-A24 restricted) refers to any tumor-associated or tumor-specific peptide antigen that is presented on the surface of cancer cells in the context of the HLA-A24 major histocompatibility complex class I molecule. These antigens are recognized by CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs), enabling targeted immune responses against tumor cells expressing both the antigen and HLA-A24. Example epitopes include: CYAGSGCPL (Mam-A), LYSDPADYF/NYARTEDFF (PSMA), LLMWITQCF (NY-ESO-1), and others found in cancers like breast, prostate, pancreatic, and colorectal.
