Tumor antigen presentation via fused dendritic cell-myeloma hybridomas is an immunotherapeutic strategy for multiple myeloma. This approach involves creating hybrid cells by fusing autologous dendritic cells with patient-derived myeloma tumor cells, resulting in a vaccine that presents a broad array of tumor antigens within the potent antigen-presenting context of DCs. The resulting fusion cell can efficiently process and present multiple tumor antigens on both MHC class I and II molecules to T lymphocytes, stimulating robust cellular and humoral immune responses against the patient's own cancer.
