Overview

The target "Tumor antigens recognized by Tag-labeled BRiDGE antibodies" refers to a class of tumor-associated markers targeted by the BRiDGE (Bispecific Redirected Immunotherapy with Genetically Engineered) platform, a modular immunotherapy system developed by Biosceptre. This platform utilizes antibodies engineered with a proprietary "Tag" that are directed against specific cancer antigens, most notably the non-functional P2X7 receptor (nfP2X7), which is selectively expressed on the surface of various solid and hematological tumor cells. These tag-labeled antibodies act as molecular bridges, enabling universal effector cells—such as BRiDGECAR T-cells—to recognize the tag and subsequently engage and destroy the tumor cells. By separating the antigen-binding component from the effector cell, the BRiDGE system allows for the simultaneous targeting of multiple antigens and provides a mechanism to control the intensity and duration of the immune response. This approach is designed to address the limitations of traditional CAR-T therapies, such as tumor heterogeneity and antigen escape, while minimizing toxicity to healthy tissues.
