Tumor-Associated Antigen Peptide-HLA Complexes (TAA-pHLA Complexes)

Target
TAA-pHLA Complexes
Molecular classification
Peptide-MHC Complex, Cell Surface Antigen
01

Overview

Tumor-associated antigen (TAA) peptide-HLA complexes are molecular structures formed when short peptides, derived from proteins that are overexpressed or uniquely expressed in tumor cells, are presented on the cell surface by human leukocyte antigen (HLA) molecules. These complexes play a central role in immune recognition of cancer cells and serve as critical targets for immunotherapies such as T-cell-based therapies and TCR-mimic antibodies.
