Tumor-associated blood vessel antigens are molecular features and cell surface proteins expressed on endothelial cells and related components of blood vessels within tumors. These antigens include classic endothelial markers (CD31, CD34), angiogenesis-associated molecules (VEGFR-2, endoglin), and immune modulatory proteins (such as B7-H3). They play critical roles in tumor angiogenesis, immune microenvironment regulation, and tumor progression. The heterogeneity of these markers is significant, influenced by vessel subtype, stage of vessel maturation, and tumor type. They are targets for anti-angiogenic and immunotherapeutic interventions, but resistance mechanisms and adverse events limit clinical efficacy and safety
