Overview
Lewis Y (LeY, also known as CD174) is a fucosylated carbohydrate antigen classified as a tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen (TACA). It is part of the Lewis blood group family and is overexpressed on the surface of many human epithelial tumors but has limited expression in normal adult tissues. LeY serves as an attractive target for immunotherapy due to its high density on tumor cells.
