Target intelligence / Profile preview
This therapeutic strategy targets tumor cells for destruction (lysis) by delivering an engineered oncolytic adenovirus using neural stem cells (NSCs) as carriers. The oncolytic adenovirus selectively replicates in and lyses tumor cells, while NSCs enhance delivery across the blood-brain barrier, improve intratumoral distribution, and protect the virus from neutralizing antibodies.
Selective replication of oncolytic adenovirus within tumor cells, leading to cell lysis and release of viral particles. Neural stem cells act as carriers for targeted delivery.
