SHP-1 phosphatase is a non-receptor tyrosine phosphatase primarily expressed in hematopoietic cells. It functions as a negative regulator of cellular signaling pathways, particularly those involved in immune cell activation and proliferation. SHP-1 dephosphorylates a wide range of substrates involved in immune receptor signaling and negatively regulates key pathways including JAK/STAT, PI3K/Akt, and MAPKs.
