UBE2H divergent transcript (UBE2H-DT) is a long non-coding RNA gene, classified as an lncRNA. It is genomically adjacent to the UBE2H gene and is named for its divergent orientation with respect to UBE2H, a gene encoding the enzyme ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 H. Currently, there are no published data on functional roles, disease associations, or pharmacological targeting of UBE2H-DT. It does not encode a protein and is not a recognized therapeutic target. UBE2H-DT should not be confused with UBE2H (ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 H), which is a well-studied enzyme relevant to the ubiquitin modification pathway and involved in processes such as protein degradation and cellular homeostasis. All available high-confidence sources classify UBE2H-DT as an lncRNA with no established role in disease or as a drug target.
